How to make a public calendar

There are two main ways to create a public calendar

  1. If you are an organization that does public events, and you have a website with a calendar, you can ask your web developer make an automatic export
  2. If you don't have a website with a calendar you can also use Nextcloud (thegood.cloud, for example) - instructions here, or perhaps Google Calendar (instructions).

Consider following the recommendation here https://opencultuurdata.wikixl.nl/index.php/Handleiding_kalenderdata

Once you have a public calendar you could make it discoverable. Then you link your website to your calendar and you make it easier to find. This is also a way to prove your ownership of your calendar.
